Transforming Your Experience"As we desire to change our lives, the first step towards this is the recognition that our inner experience is often reflected in our external experience of life.
Therefore, transformation occurs as we have the willingness to open the doorway within, and offer to the emptiness: the fullness of our own loving, bringing compassion to those places that we have learned to judge, and thereby give ourselves permission to receive and create a happier and more fulfilling life." |
Traditional Therapy
In the more traditional approach to psychotherapy, the client is encouraged to explore and express beliefs, experiences, and feelings. Such exploration and release of feelings, opens the door to transformation of one's experience—of self, life, and external conditions of difficulty. Treatment may range from being very practical and dealing with the immediacy of one's crisis or difficulty, to exploring emotional conditions and patterns that are contributing to the present crisis—and applying healing to such emotional wounds and imprints.

Transpersonal (Spiritual) Therapy
Transpersonal therapy includes some of the more traditional psychotherapy approaches, while also encompassing the idea that there is a Source of loving and healing that exists beyond the personality. This Source exists within our Self, and there is no religious idea attached to it. It is simply an energy of wisdom, loving, and healing that can be accessed and used to build an inner foundation of emotional security, love, and safety.
