Profile: Sally Jordan Austin, M.A., MFT.
Sally has worked with a variety of people in a counseling capacity, for over 20 years. At the completion of her undergraduate studies in Psychology (Bachelors Degree) at University College London, England, she provided care and rehabilitation in a group home to clients with severe mental health issues, such as depression and schizophrenia. At this time she also worked with an organization providing counseling to the elderly, and clients with terminal illness.
Her career in counseling then brought her to the USA, where she provided counseling to at-risk youth in an after school program in Hoboken, New Jersey. She also then began studies in non-denominational spiritual counseling, and graduated from the Interfaith Seminary school of Spiritual Counseling, in New York.
Sally continued to pursue her career through graduate studies in Counseling Psychology, at the University of Santa Monica in California. On completion of her Masters Degree Sally worked at various non-profit organization proving individual, family, and child therapy.
